Spring 2011 anime roundup

I've already started watching summer anime so:

- Tiger and Jinta competed for the "male character I hate the most" award while their respective show Tiger & Bunny and Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai competed for the "I'm so disappointed award".

- [C] The Money of Soul and Possibility Control won the "I knew it'd be crappy based on who the 2 main characters are but were fooled by the poster and got a crappy anime in the end" award.

- Ao no Exorcist was good until the little bro turned into a half-assed psycho jerk and Kana Hanazawa jumping in with a cutesy moeshit role as usual. I ran away before I hate it.

- Forgot to check out some shows but since they didn't seem to be that good anyway I didn't bother.

--> Finished nothing, dropped all of them, hate/ dislike all of them.

*There is still hope for me though, Stein;Gate got praised quite a lot and didn't turn out to be a stupid harem anime like I thought. I'll watch it when I feel like or after it completed.

There is this girl In-The-Machine in DeviantArt that I watch because her writing stuffs are funny and nice to read. Her artistic skills is another thing though, she sucks.Worse, she thinks too highly of her drawing/ painting ability.

Recently she bought a Mac because her old one broke and she needed a new painting program so she asked her watchers for recommendations. And I was pretty shocked to see how she demanded something great and wouldn't hinder her drawing ability. I mean, to be frank, she can draw in Paint and her drawing would still be the same. Her drawings always look like sketches and I think she only used Bucket to color it anyway.

Then today her arrogance reached a new level with her journal, to quote it:

However, what makes me sort of apprehensive about PE9 is how it seems as though most people who use it are just using it for photo image editing (pretty much PS Elements main focus anyway) or they're just amateurs or younger kids that like drawing simpler anime pictures digitally.
So far, this is one of the few vids I've seen that demonstrate that it can PSE 9 can at least be used to draw on some higher level [link]
I'm just sort of put off by how very few drawings there are online that say 'done entirely in Photoshop Elements.' So the lack of epic-looking digital art (at least, I haven't found much, on here or other places) done with Elements sort of concerns me. Like maybe it can't be taken to that level with the Elements program? Or maybe people just don't go for it since they can get something like CS4 or CS5 lol.
I'm just hoping that even with a 'watered down version' of Photoshop, my art will still be able to evolve and be capable of looking a lot better despite using a program that lacks a number of capabilities. I know stuff like Adobe CS and SAI are more popular things to use right now, but I guess I'll just have to make due with what I can get.
Well, I guess if people can take something simple like Tegaki and make amazing art, or use dA muro and make good-looking pieces such as [link] I'm sure with enough skill, Elements 9 can be used to do the same. At least, that's what I'll tell myself until I get better.

Are you fucking kidding me? Do you think you have the right to calling people for being "amateur", "drawing simple pictures" and dissing the program for "not having enough epic stuffs" when your drawing look like this?

I don't know, how about get off your high fucking horse and practice enough to draw a completely finished beautiful piece before worrying whether a program worth your "ability and skill" huh? Now I'm thinking you don't deserve PS Elements and should draw with Paint only.

I dressed up when the event background was still up and I sit in a air-conditioner room last night. They changed it this morning and goddamn this dress up became so ridiculous lol, what winter for a Tanabata day?! Still look really good though :'3 Unintentionally I used the Tanabata wallpaper of last year for this dress up xD So pretty I like it~
Talking about that Kath started the Tanabata event today with new items are from the.... Shell Spring -_- Damn that asshole, like we can get anything good from that damned place (ﾉಥ益ಥ）ﾉ 彡┻━┻ And they are so freaking PRETTY too ;A;Well anyway :\ I just decided 2 days ago that I'll throw shells in there instead of selling them so well ....

Anyway here is the stuff I got today, at least the headband is pretty decent ~

A new shop is up - Mystery Event. That is the name but I really think this looks more like an old detective era event. When I read the name I thought it'd be the same with last year - Tarots, fortune tellers and all that jazz - so I was somewhat disappointed when I saw the items in Ribbons section, not only there is no "mysterious" items, most of the stuffs are ugly as well :\ The Jewels section have some REALLY nice limited items that I wish I could buy though, they were gone so FAST too, all of them were sold out a few hours after the shop was up. Limited Ribbons items were also sold out soon after that but I don't like them so I don't really care.

What I like the most about this event is the background, I REALLY wish I could keep it ;_; It looks so cool and pretty and you can even interact with it!! Depend on the stuffs you wear you can trigger things like a lamp, cat in a bush or some rats under the manhole, if you click on it various things will happen (too lazy to describe ....). But yeah, so cool D:

Anyway, I really like today's dress up so I saved it. Not really satisfy with the bag but it's cool enough :'3


On a side note, I started playing a webgame called Echo Bazaar - Fallen London (or something like that) a few days ago. It's pretty fun and dressing up like this sure remind me of that game xD

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e 2011

Because the explanation is too long I'll cut to the point and say that by one way or another I found out they're remaking Hanakimi live action and it'll air this July.
I really like the 2007 version and has a HUGE doubt that this version will be as good. Still I want to give it a try to see how it goes. Still Nakatsu taller than Sano = FUCKING FAIL, goddamn you sure they didn't switch their roles?! At least Kiriyama Renn (Kamen Rider W - Hidari Shoutarou) will act as Nanba-senpai in here~ <3

I was bored while eating lunch so I surfed around and saw this manga. I thought the title was incredibly stupid, not to say this is a smut so it must be horrible, nevertheless I had nothing better to do so I read it. And omg it's unexpectedly FUN O-O I like the main character, she can hold herself well and pretty thoughtful. I liked it and read through the whole thing. There are cliche things here and there but the characters are so cute I forgive them >w<  Ah it has been such a long time I had fun reading manga like this ;A;

People reading this manga because of smut must be really disappointed though lolol, sex scenes are few, they are not erotic either but rather sweet and cute ;A;

Anyway good manga and the heroine totally deserves all the happiness she earned

This outfit is so cute <3

It has been raining for 3 days so the weather is pretty cool, otherwise I wouldn't dress up my poupee in such a warm outfit ~ I really like this one so I wanted to post it <3

Also regarding the previous post about Furima and Ribbon Catcher, I'm still not sure if the day after is the best time to buy rarer stuffs. Seems like stalking the Furima right after it releases for cheap ones is still the way to go.

Edit: Based on the calendar, the days I actually play Poupee girl (ie: do the dress up) up until today is 212. If it's based on the register day however, it's 482 days. I sure missed a lot xD;;;
