Lolita as daily wear

It's not impossible but difficult. From the trip to Nha Trang and Da Lat, I've come to some important points if I want to start wearing lolita as daily wear without tiring myself out:

- The garments have to fit me well. When I wore Dear Celine's princess sleeves blouse with Angelic Pretty's Princess skirt I didn't tie the skirt tightly enough and my blouse kept slipping off, either out of skirt or down to the front. It looked wonky and was a bit uncomfortable.

- No bra or a comfortable bra. My current ones don't fit me all that well and there is nothing that makes you get tired quicker in lolita than a bad bra.

- Comfortable shoes are a must. My feet hurted like hell when I had to walk around in my Body line shoes in Vinpearl.

- Good petticoat probably helps. I only have 1 cupcake petticoat from Dear Celine so I can't really say with certain yet, but it's pretty stiff and make my legs sweat because it's hot and stick to my legs. I'm ordering a new petticoat from Classic Puppet, we will see how it goes.

In conclusion I will have to:
- Spend more money on quality shoes instead of opting for the cheaper ones
- Find a couple of good bras
- Pay more attention to sizing when buying clothes

I wish society is less obsessed with women breasts, would save me so much trouble and money on bra. My boobs are so small I can go commando all the time without any trouble.

I don't want to go out to play anymore....

It's too expensive.
There is this girl who also wears lolita clothes I met back in April. We hang out today again after about 2 months and watched a movie, had dinner, went to a tarot cafe. It was pretty fun but too costly, I used up about 750,000 VND in total -___- I really regret not making better decision to save on some cost that could have been spared :\
Just think about it, with 750,000 VND I could have:
- Buy a cutsew/ tshirt
- Or a pair of shoes
- Or a bunch of cute accessories from taobao
- Or pay for shipping
- Or some pairs of socks
Instead I wasted it on this and now I can't bring to tell my mom that I used too much.... This sucks ~_~

Pandora Heart

I read this manga sometime last month or the month before. It was decent enough and had some good moments but the flaws are too jarring to be great.

The part I read was up to after Oz met the guy who is probably the reincarnation of Baskerville Glen (edit: oh his name is Elliot). The manga was already in the terribad territory because of how preachy and pretentious it is before that point. But damn was the scene of that guy lecturing Oz ridiculous to the point of hilarious. I have to give point to Pandora Heart for having a lot of energy and trying hard, but there is this feeling that the author doesn't know how to step back a little and look at the whole picture. This is a product of an amateur who is too occupied with their own story and world that they can't control the flow and presentation of the manga in a skillful way. Still it's a nice read and does make me curious to how the story is going, though there is this doubt that I'll find the ending stupid and forget it soon after finishing anyway.

DVD leakage

Someone put Arashi's Beautiful World DVD leakage download link on tumblr and I'm left speechless. I can't for the life of me how would they thought this is a good idea. I'm all for sharing the good and grateful for people who do this, but tumblr is really not the place to share it when the release day is still 2 days away because it's the kind of platform that get continuously more and more exposed as people reblog the link. I can't really explain but I think it's really wrong, it'd be fine it if was a few months after the release.

Bidding win

I just won the Marie Antoinette JSK in white and a black Putumayo skirt with blue cat print with no rival at 8,000 yen and 3,800 yen in mbok :D
I always thought my taste was too mainstream and stuffs I like are often too expensive to buy because many people like them. But in these moments there is this wonder if actually no one cares about things I find pretty xD;;; Well all is good anyway :'P
The Baby JSK has a small stain on it (which is why it's cheap), the color doesn't look too strong though, I hope it'll come off with some washing .-.;

Kirisame Marisa's outfit

How to make a Marisa-inspired Lolita outfit:

- Pure black skirt and black vest or a pure black JSK with little frill (something like this seems to be a good choice)
- White blouse and white apron
- White bloomer
- Black shoes and white knee socks
- Black and white headband

Yeah I'm so gonna do this, buying all the necessary stuffs in 2 weeks if I can't win the items I'm bidding on or later this year if I win.

What is the measurement?

See a cute H.Naoto dress:

Seller's description: Cute black and white M sized dress with little wings in the back.
Me: Hi, what is the length and width of this dress?
Seller: Hi, it's a S~M sized dress
Me: ( ´_ゝ`)

Lolita - Second hand shop

Well no money to buy new brand stuffs unless it's on sale so......

- Alice Fururun - website - In an old post (from 2009 in EGL) some said the price here is cheaper than Closet Child and Fairy Angel.

- Closet Child - website - This one seems pretty popular but the price is more expensive than other sites.

- Fairy Angel - website - In and old post (from 2009 in EGL) people said that ordering without an account will add 20% to the price. I don't know if it still applies or not (don't know how to check) but I'll make an account just to be safe if I do order something.

- Grand Bazaar - website - I don't know much about this but I compared the price of a dress which was also on ClosetChild and it's cheaper. The dress on GrandBazaar had B grade and the one on ClosetChild has a 3/5 grade.

Non-Japanese websites:
- Clothing Drop - website - An USA one.

There is also a website called Tokyo Alice but I can't seem to find its webpage :\

Baby, The Stars Shine Bright - Summer Sale

Baby is having a summer sale, most of them won't fit me but I don't want to pass this chance to own some brand stuffs with cheaper price than normal xD

- BABYSale-set2 - Accessories set(Three lovely accessories)
 6300yen(Includes tax)

Why is this so expensive again? I'm guessing because of that lovely watch.

- BABYSale-229 - Shirring jumper skirt&head bow set

Length:93cm(36.61inch)
Bust:66~120cm(25.98~47.24inch)
Waist:64~110cm(25.19~43.30inch)

Look at DAT SIZE! I'm beaming with hope that I can wear this <3

- BABYSale-316 - Ribbon ribbon gelato sun dress head bow set
 Length:92cm(36.22inch)
Bust:86~100cm(33.85~39.37inch)
Waist:64~105cm(25.19~41.33inch)

Bust is too big but it's not totally hopeless yet >_> Damn I think I'll want to pad my chest >_>;;;

- BABYSale-718 - Shirring cut and sewn one-piece dress
 Length 92cm(36.22inch)
Bust :75~104cm(29.52~40.94inch)

Wow probably can't ask for a better bust size O_o not sure if this look suit me though, I'm worried that I'd look like a pole without any curve >_<;;;

- BABYSale-511 - Gingham check triple tiered skirt&drawers set

Length:41.5cm(19.29inch)
Waist:60~70cm(25.19~29.13inch)

Drawers
Length:35.5cm(13.97inch)
Waist:60~90cm(25.19~35.43inch)

Not sure about these, I guess I'm supposed to wear the drawer inside that dress? The size is good though :'3

- APSale-710 - Rapuzel printed cut and sewn one-piece dress
 Length:92cm(36.22inch)
Bust:77cm(30.31inch)

Again the size is nice but I'm not sure if this dress will suit me :'(

- Misc: Some other stuffs I want
+ Petticoat Poof and not that Poof : The must have item, and doesn't require much worrying over size. Still I'm a little worried that they maybe too long.

+ Headbow with band and without band: Probably will want one of them if I really order something xD

+ Crown bag and Heart bag, Berry Memoir bag, want one of them too xD

Wanted Lolita stuffs

I decided to put my first step into Lolita fashion and mom totally support me <3 I'm a total beginner though so I'm pretty much clueless and 3 days of intense research sure hurt-ed my head +__+;;; Anyway I thought it'd be a good idea to keep track of stuff I want to own but for various reason (size, money, stock, etc..) I can't afford yet.
